Opened in 1997, City Museum lives within the former International Shoe in St. Louis, MO. The museum is the brainchild of internationally-acclaimed artist Bob Cassilly, a classically trained sculptor, of whom I closely worked with during my time at City Museum. The museum is an architectural marvel constructed of found and repurposed objects, steel, and other materials.
